Can beginners join?
Yes, beginners can join. The teachers will modify the classes so you can practice at your own pace.

What’s the average size of a group?
There are normally 10-15 people on each yoga retreat. 

​

Is it OK to come on the retreat alone?
Absolutely! Many of our guests come solo, in fact almost half of our guests come by themselves. It’s a great way to get the full retreat experience, time to yourself and have the opportunity to make new friends along the way. 

​

I'd like to come with someone else who won't be practicing yoga-fitness, is that ok?
Yes, you can come with someone who won’t be practicing any activity, the price would be less for that person, please contact us for details.

 

What times are the classes?
Normally
we start the day with yoga & meditation classes that starts around 7:30 and the fitness activities are normally at the afternoon around 15:00

Can we book extra private classes during the retreat?
Yes, you can book extra yoga classes with the yoga teacher during the yoga retreat. You can arrange this directly with the yoga teacher once you are at the destination. Alternatively, you can arrange this in advance by contacting us.

Are flights included?
We have not included flights. 

​

When should I arrive, and when should I plan to leave?
Plan to arrive at some point on the first day of the retreat (the first date mentioned in the dates listed on our website). We’ll have a group dinner that evening to meet everyone, and yoga classes will start the next morning. The last class will be the evening before the last day of the retreat, and people will leave at some point on the next day depending on flights. Hotel check-out is usually around 12noon, but you can stay at the hotel and use the facilities, pool, beach, and spa if you have a later flight.

Do I need to bring a towel for the pool and the beach?
All our hotels provide large towels for the beach and pool for free, so you do not need to bring one. They will also replace them with clean ones for you daily.

How do I book?

How much is the deposit and when is the balance due?
A 50% deposit is requested to hold your place, with the balance due 90 days prior to the start of the yoga retreat.

How do I get to the retreat venue?
Closer to the retreat dates, we will send all the details about transportation from the airport to the venue.

What should I bring?

If you’ve never been on a retreat before you might be unsure of what you do need

  • Your passport is valid, with at least 6 months after your return date

  • You’ve got the appropriate visa, or know that you can fill out a visa-on-arrival card on the plane

  • Your credit or debit card(s) will work in your destination 

  • Your travel insurance will cover you for cancellations, theft, and medical expenses in your destination country, 

  • Sunscreen / Sunglasses / Sunhat / Flip Flops

  • Swimsuit

  • Water Bottle

  • Notebook and Pen

  • Insect repellent

  • Headphone

  • Training shoes / Training Apparel

  • Bring comfortable clothing for yoga sessions and we recommend you bring a long sleeves/pants for morning meditation

  • White casual outfit for last dinner

  • Book / Facial Mask (Things for unwinding )

  • Covered shoulders & knees for a temple visit

  • Toiletries

  • A plug socket adaptor

  • Healthy Snacks – protein bars, dried fruit and nuts are always good to have in your bag for those moments when you need a little boost

  • For most of all our retreats, yoga mats/props/blankets etc. will be provided but feel free to bring your own if you prefer.

Do I need to bring extra cash?
Your retreat package covers everything including food, and any scheduled day trip. Most guests find they spend almost nothing during the retreat.  There are however opportunities to visit nearby places. so some extra cash could come handy. Each venue also as an onsite masseuse where you can book treatments at additional cost.
